January 26, 200422 yr After looking through FS9 help on multiplayer setups, I found the information lacking detail. I thought the members of this forum would be a much better source of info, so here goes...1. Is a peer to peer hookup possible? (myself at one computer, and another at a computer across the country).2. Can fs2002 and fs9 be connected through multiplayer3. I have a router, and can it be configured (or need to be configured) to allow this type of connection. Thanks for any insite!fs9Dell 2.53 w/533 fsb1 Gig RAMGeforce 4 Ti4600Win XP Home

Can fs2002 and fs9 be connected through multiplayer>Not directly as far as I know, but you could if you both connect through some FSHost site that permit it. To find those FSHost sites, get FSHostSpy in Avsim library.>3. I have a router, and can it be configured (or need to be>configured) to allow this type of connection.>Sorry, this is beyond my knowledge>While you fly, you can talk to the other party(ies)if every one of you use a same communication program like Roger Wilco or preferabaly Teamspeak2. You could always communicate through the chat window of FS but flying and typing is not my cup of tea!!See the Bushnet site here at Avsim. It maintain an FSHost site that permits connection of FS2k2 and 2k4. A very loose environment to take a first step into multiplayer :-)Hope it helps a bit. Good luck and have fun!Hugo>Thanks for any insite!>>>>fs9>Dell 2.53 w/533 fsb>1 Gig RAM>Geforce 4 Ti4600>Win XP Home>>>>>>>>>>>>

January 27, 200422 yr Author Thanks! I will look at the port settings and I guess at this stage a website hosting both versions is the way to go. Appreciate the advice!
