November 3, 201114 yr I was looking for some info on running a projection screen or multiple monitors. I have a 2600k sandy bridge setup with a GTX 580 on a single monitor. I am slowly going to build an enclosed simulator. What change in graphic cards do I need to make. I can not decide on wrap around projection or using monitors for windscreen. I am confident on constructing the simulator and building the pc's, just unsure on how to run the visual. Any help appreciated. I have been looking into using Project Magenta for the instrumentation as I piece together the flight controls. Sorry if this is basic info im researching all i can find, getting bored playing on a desk.
November 15, 201114 yr I would recommend projectors if you have the space. I am also searching for display options such as using a triplehead2go. Anyone know if I can plug two of these into my gpu to get 3 outside views and 3 inside EFIS views using PMDG? Second question - does the new PMDG 737 software even support the PFD, MDF, and EICAS views - not virtual cockpit? Thanks.

Lots of info on this topic about 2 years ago.The pic shows what can be done with a couple of 17" LCDs and an ancient 18" CRT- producing what the eyes/brain see as a single image about 45" wide.In this pic you can see how accurately the white painted runway # aligns across two monitors via careful bezel correction to the outer view angles.Processor is an ancient AMD 1.8 with two GeForce FX5200 GPUs.AR
