Sometimes Flight Simulator can be extremely frustrating, when you just can't get things to work the way you want. However, sometimes you have an experience that makes up for all the frustrations, when you say to yourself 'I love this sim'. I had such an experience last night. After just completing my first successful autoland with my new PMDG 737, I thought I would relax by taking my (also new;-) ) SF260 for a spin over Seattle. After a couple of minutes I noticed a lot of AI traffic (I have mine set to 50%) and I was surprised to see that one of the other aircraft up there was a Vimy. After taking a closer look, I noticed that one of the other AI aircraft was a Ryan. I've seen some of the older aircraft before, but never a Vimy or a Ryan - maybe they've got a classic aircraft fly-in going on:P ?I'm sure others have had similar experiences, but for now I've got to say it: I love this sim!Boogie.

HiLast night I took an Airbus 380 on a short hop from Cardiff to London Heathrow. It's a hell of a plane to land but anyway, I was put in a holding pattern over Heathrow and after my third or fourth course correction from ATC I decided to have a look around me in spot view. (I had traffic at 95%) I couldn't believe what I was seeing, as I came in on finals I had three planes ahead of me and four behind in a string of pearls. Absolutely stunning, I was so engrossed I forgot to take a screen shot I almost flew into the back of a 747 and when I say I had to listen to ATC I really had to listen.Just about got that big bird on the tarmac, taxiing was even more sweat inducing.Bloomin MarvellousWycliffe

This could be a good thread.BumpWycliffe
