Anyone know if there are any utilites to convert FS2000 or FS2002 aircraft to FS9 ? Any help would be appreciated.Thanks,[email protected]

If the aircraft is GMAX or FSDS 2.x, most conversions can be done by replacing the gps in the panel.cfg with FS2004's...If the aircraft is FSDS 1.x or older--likely if the aircraft was designed for FS2000 or early in FS2002's cycle, there's no utility to convert the aircraft... At a minimum, you'd have to have access to the source and a copy of FSDS 2....On the web there was a program touted as being able to convert .mdl files to gmax format... It only worked with very old model files, and did not convert animations, and often fouled up the model in the process...Sorry I couldn't give a more positive answer...Regards,John
