FSX fatal error

Hi, I'm having a problem lately about when I start a free flight, after it finishes the loading 5 seconds later the cursor turned into a blue ring and it dont respond. Can only offer general recommendations, but they may help:

  1. Uninstall whatever you installed since FSX was running OK.
  2. Enable Windows Update to make sure your MSVC and .NET runtimes are all up-to-date.

The crash was caused by xfire, a chat program. You need to turn it off when flying with FSX as it is not compatible or it was not installed properly. I would uninstall xfire completely, run ccleaner or some other free registry system cleaner, then reinstall it.Best regards,Jim
