hi all, i have put in the settings for raising and lowering the seat in the cockpits but when i either look left or right or go to the outside view i have to alter the view every time, can i change the aircraft cfg file to stop this, thanks roger.

You must be running FS2002? In FS2004 when I adjust the zoom and seat height (shift+enter), it stays when I look left/right or switch to another view and come back.To answer your question, yes you can edit the panel.cfg file to make it permanant. Look for these lines, or add them if they aren't there:VIEW_FORWARD_ZOOM=1.0VIEW_FORWARD_EYE=0.0, 0.0, -0.1VIEW_FORWARD_DIR=11.0, 0.0, 0.5VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_ZOOM=1.0VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_EYE=0.1, 0.0, -0.1VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_DIR=10.0, 0.0, 40.0VIEW_RIGHT_ZOOM=1.0VIEW_RIGHT_EYE=0.1, -0.1, 0.1VIEW_RIGHT_DIR=5.0, 0.0, 90.0VIEW_LEFT_ZOOM=1.0VIEW_LEFT_EYE=0.05, -0.1, -0.1VIEW_LEFT_DIR=10.0, 0.0, -90.0VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_ZOOM=1.0VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_EYE=0.1, 0.0, 0.0VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_DIR=10.0, 0.0, -35.0etc...The ZOOM line is the zoom, I forget what the other numbers do, but one moves the view up/down, one is left/right, the other sets the view offset. You can just play around and figure out what they do.
