does anyone now how to dim the panel light to aviation red . panel light is to bright for night flying

I think in order to do that you would have to change the bmp lighting color in the "textures" folder for the aircraft, but I can't imagine that would be an easy process. I know that in order to make changes to the panel lighting for the Carenado aircraft that I have you have to go about it that way but all of them have back-lighting for the gauges whereas I'm pretty sure the 172 doesn't have individual back-lighting. Maybe one of the repainters around here could have a go at it...
