  1. There is a proof of purchase field in the installation process where you enter your email and a password that is emailed to the email that you used during the purchasing process and you enter that when you install the product. There is no limit to the amount of times that you can install one of their planes...I would suggest buying them for FSX since they have abandoned FS9 and don't supply updates for FS9 aircraft anymore. All of Carenado's aircraft perform exceptionally well in FSX on my rig and it's a run of the mill laptop. There are more Cessna's on the list of aircraft that they are going to produce including a 172RG and a 177/177RG!
  2. I think in order to do that you would have to change the bmp lighting color in the "textures" folder for the aircraft, but I can't imagine that would be an easy process. I know that in order to make changes to the panel lighting for the Carenado aircraft that I have you have to go about it that way but all of them have back-lighting for the gauges whereas I'm pretty sure the 172 doesn't have individual back-lighting. Maybe one of the repainters around here could have a go at it...
  3. So you want to install one of the default FSX altimeters and replace the altimeter that's already installed into the 180? You could open up the panel.cfg file that's located in the aircraft folder and install it that way. Are you familiar with how to do that?
  4. Thanks for the reply! I haven't had the time to mess around with it all that much so I was hoping to see if others have already managed to figure it out. Glad to know that the autopilot mods will work. Thanks again.
  5. Hey guys, I have a few questions about the V35B...Does anyone have the panel.cfg file for the V35B that has the GNS 430 WAAS, GMA 340, and GTX 327 installed on the radio panel? Also does anyone have a modified night lighting texture for these gauges?I saw that there were some mods that were made for the F33A (xml) that fixed things with the autopilot, RMI, etc, does anyone know if that will work with the V35B?Does anyone have the Shockwave Lights setup for the V35B with tip tanks? I saw that there were a few out there but they all had issues and the lights didn't show up right...I don't think they were intended for the tip tank model.Sorry to plague you with the questions but I haven't really messed around with all these configurations before and if someone out there already has the stuff it would be a lot easier and I would be a lot less likely to screw something up lol...Thanks!
  6. I have a feeling that they're about to get into the jet department, they seem to be leaving behind the general aviation and working their way into the corporate world. I really hope that they still continue to make prop jobs though...I never was a jet person but then again maybe that's because I don't have the money to buy my own
  7. How about an updated version of the Piper Dakota...
  8. I remember that a friend of mine was going through the same problem with the same graphics cars that you have, but it wasn't with Carenado aircraft it was with a couple from Eaglesoft I believe. Anyway...The way that he fixed it was going into the Nvidia settings and messing around with each one of the options until things would properly. By the way, there are a lot of other people having issues with the 285.38 driver so the problem may lie with the driver itself...
  9. Piper Tri-Pacer and a 60's based Piper Cherokee Six PA-32-260...
