February 4, 200422 yr Thought possibly the following which I put on the SimFlyers forum might be of use for somebody.Common knowledge concerning SimFlyer airports is that for some reason, many runway approaches default to ILS backcourse implmentation wihtout glideslope. This is somewhat of a pain for a surprise discovery after flying for two hours especially on a VatSim flightplan. The following, if the forum format will allow such a thing are spreadsheets defining the approach provisions from FlightSim for all of the runways for airports with the exception of the Italian locations (Sorry, but I do not have those two airports yet.) I tried to attach the Extrel spreadsheets with no success. I will now try with Word text.CYYZ Toronto Pearson Rwy. Freq. February 5, 200422 yr Author Thanks to Mike on the SimFlyers forum, he informed us that there is a patch to fix all airports except for KJFK, EDDF, CYYZ and KIAH. All approaches work correctly as applicable with this fix.1) Re-download the Latest KEWR scenery from the Simflyers site 2) Then go to this page: http://www.simflyers.net/aitraffic/aitraffic2004.htm and apply the http://www.simflyers.net/aitraffic/files20...Trafficfix1.zip patch, 3) then install one of the following AFCADs for Newark KEWR: http://www.simflyers.net/aitraffic/files20...s_MDF_V2_10.zip
February 5, 200422 yr Author In reviewing all airports, with the fix thanks to Mike's reply, the only airport runway which still seems to be in error is Runway 31R at KJFK. There is an approach plate for this runway, and FSNav shows it to have Glideslope provisions, but it still reacts as a backcourse. All other runways in question match approach plates that I can find.
