December 3, 201114 yr Hi Everyone,This is a really interesting one. I've got the XP10 demo with a Saitek yoke/throttle quadrant + a USB throttle quadrant. Everything works in XP9.I've done the setup for leavers 1 - 6 with throttle 1 / throttle 2 / prop 1 / prop 2 / mixture 1 / mixture 2 in that order across the two quadrants.I've done the cailbration, and when I move the leaver back and forth, the green bar moves back and forth. So it looks like the setup part is seeing the leavers ok.When I go into an aircraft and turn on the data display for joystick (woring fine in all planes) / throttle / prop and mixture I see the data changing for the following items in the following aircraft:C172 - Throttle not changing / Mixture worksB58 - neither throttle changing / neither prop changing / both mixtures work.C90B - neither throttle changing / both prop works / both mixture worksAlso if I go back into setup and assign any of the leavers (1 - 6) to the mixture, the mixture works. So it appears that the assignment being made in setup is not making it through to the aircraft for throttle and depending on the plane, prop. All button assignments made across the two quadrants (landing light / flaps / gear) work in all plane that have that function.I've run the updater and it all appears up to date, but the problem persists. I've restarted XP10 to make sure the controls hadn't been disabled and I've waited the 10 mins to make sure they are, just to make sure it wasn't starting disabled. At this point I'm stumped. Any ideas?Mark
December 3, 201114 yr Odd. I have the Saitek throttle quadrant too (two of them) mapped to 2 throttle, 2prop and 2 mixture) - they're working fine. Is the aircraft powered up - are you testing with batt power on - or the engines running? The Saitek axis don't move if the aircraft power is off for some reason.
December 4, 201114 yr Author I went into XP9 and ran some tests, then went back to XP10 and ran some more tests, and found after cycling the throttle back and forth it started changing on the data and they could be seen moving in the plane (B58 I think).Props data and leavers in the plane don't move, but the propeller RPM gauges tell me something is happening because I can change the propeller RPM.C172 throttle is now working as well.I didn't think there were any configuration files outside of the individual XP directories, so doing stuff in XP9 shouldn't have made any difference. However when I exited XP9 Trend Micro said it was blocking net access for XP9 (which I have had for ages) and I selected allow (which I'd already done for XP10 after the install). Unless this had something to do with it, I don't know, but at least I can get off the ground now.All aircraft were running (props spinning) during the tests.
