December 4, 201114 yr http://www.defense.gov/releases/release.aspx?releaseid=14920Our controls professor (dynamics last semester-we are really small) at TCU disappeared twice this past semester to go be an independent consultant on a missile from sandia labs. When he got back the first time we found out that he designed the aerodynamics on this missile back in the 80s that was essentially his "golden child." A few weeks back he left to go see the missile launch in Hawaii. We had no idea what it was. When he came back we soon found out that the missile was this AHW missile launched by the Army posted in the link. So I may be bragging here about my prof.. He's a very goofy, but very very very smart man (he can solve 4th order diffeq's in his head), but it's incredible to see how far we have come as a society to see these systems changing our world and taking us further into the future. Just wanted to share with you all. See what you all would think. Steven Penninck
