All AI Aircraft Have No Night Lighting

Featured Replies

...whatsover...except for landing lights. I'm going to test at night with PMDG planes and see what happens. No cabin window lighting, logo lights. Was doing plane spotting at PHX last night and none of the WOAI planes had lighting while landing or taxiing. I can see the black plane models at night, nothing much else though.Anybody else experience this? I have all the plane packs installed, using the X converter to make sure textures all show during the daytime, which they do. Just no night textures. I made sure FSX was set to Windows 7 also under the compatability mode tab. The texures appear fine during the daytime.I have never had a sim require so much money and fiddling just to get it to appear and run right at the same time. Ridiculous.Windows 7 Professional 64x, i72600k @ 4.5GHz, GTX590, 16MB Corsair 1866RAM, ASUS MOBOPS - google checked all the forums including WOAI - most threads are over 5 years old and seems I'm the only one that is currently having this problem.

Seems like when I turn off DirectX10 preview the lights are now on with the WOAI aircraft. The logos on tail appear all white now atleast. I'm just short of giving up on FSX altogether except that I invested all this money into this stupid sim now. FS9 doesn't have the eye candy FSX does but atleast it has tons more add-ons and you actually could spend more time flying than tweeking as with FSX.Good job once again, Microsoft.
