February 7, 200422 yr Ever since I flew the great freeware Beechcraft Debonair in FS2002, I've been looking for something similar for FS2004. I had my eye on the Carenado Bonanza and have been waiting for the FS2004 update. Just checked their site and the update was there. I registered with their site, got a confirming email, then went back to purchase the Bonanza and the update. I keep getting, "We're sorry, your transaction can not be processed". I tried again with my firewall disabled, just in case, still didn't work. I emailed them to inquire about it, but the email bounced.Jim
February 7, 200422 yr This doesn't help with the Carenado issue-but there is an update for the Deb for fs2004 here:http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?DLID=38004http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpg Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!
February 7, 200422 yr Thanks Geof!I did get the transaction to go through after several attempts and I've already taken the Bonanza for a quick flight. Nice plane but the interior isn't as nice as the photoreal Debonair. Guess I'll download that update too. :}
February 8, 200422 yr I didn't think the new, fully FS2004 Bonanza was available yet from Carenado- did you download their old one by some chance? Seems like it from your decription. If so you should get you money back and wait for the new version, looks really stunning...Best,Joel
February 8, 200422 yr I downloaded the FS2002 version and the FS2004 update. (the update requires the 2002 version)The exterior of the plane is great, as is the 2D panel. Flight model seems really good too. The interior isn't bad, but not in the same category as the Dreamfleet GA planes.Jim
February 8, 200422 yr You actually got the old model- it was pretty much their first plane. Today their interiors are about the best out there, few other developers know how to use textures and such in the VC the way Carenado does (check out their 210 Centurion). They are about to release a completely new, from the ground up Bonanza that is only designed for FS2004. Should be stunning, even better than the Centurion. I can't believe they are still selling the old one though, unless at a nice discount. The new model is already on ther "up and coming" screenshot page.They're very nice guys, I bet if you eMail them they will let you get a credit toward the new plane when its released.Best,Joel
