February 11, 200422 yr I'm also a happy customer with the CH yoke and pedals, running with XP on gameport. I bought an add-on Soundblaster with a gameport, since my XP box didn't come with a gameport. Occasionally I think of plugging in Ye Olde joystick for helicopters, but then I just get lazy and fly them with the yoke, which works fine.
February 11, 200422 yr I've got an old CH 4 button gameport joystick and CH Pedals (just the basic ones. not the fancy ones) I've used these for years with Windows98 and XP for FS2000, FS2002 and now FS9. I find the CH products indestructible. I've never had a problem and they have not become "sloppy" with age and fairly hard daily use. I know these controls are a bit dated and there are certainly more sophisticated models available but as far as I'm concerned it would be hard to beat CH products for reliability and durability. Tony
February 11, 200422 yr OK, thanks for the explanation. I may need to create a multipage Excel spreadsheet just to keep track of my button assignments.
