December 12, 201114 yr Hello,I'm using HDE V2 textures and ASE as weather engine. My problem is that during night flights, when cruizing of sometimes when landing in fog the textures turns blue. It can sometimes switch between blue and black a few times. It looks like this :(Screenshot is from Sascha91 on another post)Do you know what can be the problem ? The textures ? Settings ? I've been changing from video card since I got this problem but I still have it with my new GTX560.Thank you,Maxime.
December 13, 201114 yr Author Well, everything is blue, the sky is completely blue. It sometimes switches between black, blue, black, blue etcMaxime.
December 13, 201114 yr Hi.It looks like a normal night-time screenshot to me too.Just to see what the weather is doing, try this: Next time it goes wrong press Alt+W, then T, and alter the time of day back to mid-day. Give us another screenie of the mid-day scene. I suspect the fog is just obscuring the clouds.Cheers,D
December 13, 201114 yr Author I'll try to make some screenshots this afternoon to show you where the problem is ;-)Maxime.
December 13, 201114 yr Just had another thought...my PC is pushed pretty close up against the wall of my front room. My monitor is plugged into a card which needs an adaptor to fit the monitor cable. The constant pressure of the wall on the monitor cable has caused a permanent bend which can, if I move it, cause the screen to turn magenta until I fold it back into place. I wonder if your monotor cable, or the monitor itself is giving up.Does the colour change occur in any other application?Regards,D
December 13, 201114 yr Author Hello,It only happens during night flights... I've now set up my screen with other colors and the sky is now more dark and lights colors are better. I'll see on my next flight if I still get the problem or not.Thank you,Maxime.
