December 17, 201114 yr I don't know where I'm going wrong, so I'm hoping someone is able to point me in the right direction.I use Simroutes.com to create my preliminary flight route and download it as a .PLN for FSX. Since Simroutes doesn't offer all the points I require, I will use FSX flight plan editor to tweak it by adding a few additional waypoints. The .PLN is imported into FSX fully complete from the download. Once the tweaks are made, I resave it. If I re-open the amended .PLN file, it is complete with the original points , and the added ones. I close FSX. As an example ... I will add 4 additional fixes to the tail end of my flight as RNAV approach points, a 28 point flight route in total. I launch Active Sky X, select briefing and with the Change Flight Plan button will import and process the ammended .PLN I created earlier. However, the Navigation Log shows depicts ONLY the points I added, and does not include the points of the original route. Active Sky interprets only a 6 point route, not the 28 point saved. Point 0 remains the departure airport, and the last point (#5) remains the destination airport, the 4 points in between are the ones I added through FSX. The original 20 points from the SimRoutes.com route are not there. Remember ... if I load the .PLN file in FSX flight planner ... the full 28 point route is there.I've even tried saving under different names just in case I was inadvertently thinking I was saving new information and loading any changes. And oddly .... when viewing the map of the route in Active Sky ... well, those points I added, the only ones represented in Active Sky's flight route interpretation, are in the wrong location. In fact, I suspect that the 4 points I've added at the end of the flight route, are being interpreted wrongly by Active Sky as the 1st 4 points respectively. For example, if my first point was supposed to be YCD, and my first (added) point is NAGDU, Active Sky will place NAGDU (showing point 1 in Active Sky) where YCD is. Thoughts? RM Killins
