February 11, 200422 yr All,I rarely fly this FS9 default jet, but today I decided to try it out. My learjet 45 was completely shutdown from the start. I just can't find the avionic master switch. Where is it on the this jet? Also, I can't turn on the radio stack or my GPS! Is this because of the avionic master not on? I appreciate your help!David
February 11, 200422 yr As far as i can tell there isnt one, to turn on the instruments simply click the battery L or R button that should spark up your radios as well.p.s.how do you start the sim with the plane totally switched off? its annoying when you have to do it manually just to turn it back on again, cheersJames
February 11, 200422 yr Author Hi James,I think that one day I was flying my trusty Mooney Bravo and parked it on the tarmac with everything shut down. Then I saved the flight and made it my FS9 default. This is why the learjet 45 started out completely shutdown. I think.Well, I could have sworn that my L/R batteries were turned on...but I'll check it again. Thanks for your reply!David
February 12, 200422 yr that did the trick, thanks for that! well i tried the cold and dark lear and the batt button did light it up so if that doesnt work maybe the battery's dead? it does happen after a while but i wouldnt expect it if you just started...thanks again,James
February 12, 200422 yr Hi David,What I did was assign a key in key assignments to togle avionics. Actually I can't remember if one was already assigned and I just found which it was, but just go to key assignments and either assign one or find out which it is.Stephen
February 12, 200422 yr Author Ok, I took the easy route and just used Control + E for engine autostart. Holding these keys down for 20 seconds or so also started my radio stack and GPS! I have not tried any other way, but I will look into what Stephen suggested above.Your inputs are appreciated!David
