February 13, 200422 yr "I have had plenty of real weather IMC flights to where I could not see a thing out of the cockpit,..."As have I. If visibility is very low than indeed you get some decent IMC flying. But again, when flying above an overcast sky, with lots of sunshine and visbility beyond 50nm, when you look down to try and spot an airport (or whatever), all you should see is opaque cloud cover. Instead what you see is the airport (or whatever) beneath a transparent cloud cover. The problem remains...there is no undercast in FS2004.Mike
February 13, 200422 yr FS2004 leaves FS2002 for dead! There's no comparison, it's as simple as that.I run a similar machine to you: Athlon 1.4Ghz, 512Mb RAM & 64Mb GeForce 3. I get 14-18FPS on a good day & it rarely dips below 10FPS with 100% AI, etc.Cheers :)Josh
