December 21, 201114 yr Hello,As it is now school holidays for me, i have a lot of time on my hands. So i was thinking, not promising but maybe if I get enough votes for it weather to do some research and benching. I would be looking at going from around 4.0GHz upwards to about 4.8GHz to see how much difference there is in FSX frame rates clock for clock on FPS. I was thinking I should do fsx mark11 but that means uninstalling REX and making it a vanilla fsx. So i was thinking instead that because it is only my system, clock for clock, I should save a little route and fly it instead. So my plan is to get an average frame rate of this little flight, for every speed i test, and then find the percentage from it. I may even do it in a built up area to find if a higher clock is even better when your frames are low than when they are up in the 60's. Anyway, flood me with suggestions and i will see what I can do.And for the experts out there, I am paranoid about my PC, just making sure that restarting it a quite a number of times in the day and changing its speeds wont do any long term harm. December 22, 201114 yr Author Began work today. Using FSX Mark 11 but its not vanilla FSX. but, as i said, shouldn't matter as it is against my own results. Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society. The optimist invents the airplane and the pessimist the parachute. ~Gil Stern
