installing nVidia driver

Recommended Posts

Hello fellow simmers. When installing new driver, should I just run the installer and ignore the default one provided by Windows 7? I usually use Driver Cleaner to uninstall the previous one before the new one installed in win xp 32 to avoid conflict.Thank you

I would just install the one downloaded from the NVIDIA site , Run the .exe that will take care of the old driver & install the new driver ...I usually check the Nvidia forums with regards to any problems folks have had with new drivers on the OS .....If anything sticks out I hold off ....I installed the new Nvidia drivers last night on Win 7 worked fine , Also install Nvidia Inspector to handle FS9/FSX
