Is there a way to raise the pilots seat in the cfg file, I find all aircraft seating position too low, I know how to raise it on the keyboard however if I pan with the hat switch it returns to preset height.ThanksTerry

Sure, the value in red is the vertical position[Views]eyepoint= 0.1, -0.95, 1.6

Thanks for the replies, I found the view in a/c cfg and changed the last numbers to 1.6, this dropped the view down to the floor of the cockpit in the virtual view, but did not alter the 2d view, I use the 2d view only, what would I modify to lower this?ThanksTerry

1.6 is just an example!!! That's the vertical position in feet. You need to change that value in relationship to the original value.2D view, in FSX? why?however in that case this helps:http://forum.avsim.net/topic/357108-basic-view-question/
