static lights

I recently downloaded a couple of liveries to discover when loaded the anti collision light stays on and no amount of hitting various switches does anything. this is also the case with the logo light and the rear strobe which do not work.now the technical part:where can I find the files that replace the lights but not the textures or does the texture file impact the lighting?thanksMel
