January 5, 201214 yr I've recently (within the last month) been looking at getting back into flight simulation. I've been holding on to my current computer (from the FS2004 era) and I'm finally going to bite the bullet and put together a nice new system. Wow, what a crazy time to get back into things. Since MS Flight doesn't sound like it's going to be my cup of tea, I'm torn between XP10 and now P3D. No intention of starting another debate about this sim vs. that sim, but I have more questions about P3D than answers. What default aircraft (if any) come with P3D? I could not, for the life of me, find a list after searching. I have read that FSX aircraft should be able to be imported relatively easily, but I do not have FSX. Also, I've read about the TrackIR issues/workarounds, but can anyone confirm that the CH products (yoke, pedals) work correctly in P3D?Thank you and I look forward to jumping back in this world. January 5, 201214 yr Commercial Member Hi Bill,Sorry if the list is unclear, I will look at that on the P3D website. Currently the aircraft/vehicles that ship with Prepar3D are:Maule OrionPiper J3 CubMooney BravoRobinson R22Beechcraft Baron 58Beechcraft King Air 350P-38 LighteningLockheed ConstellationNeptune SubmersibleMore will follow as I continue to work through licensing permissions with various OEM's. Most add-ons will work. CH products are working for me.....JohnPrepar3D
January 5, 201214 yr Author John, thank you for the reply. I'm impressed by the responsiveness of the P3D staff on this forum and your own, especially since us hobbyists are not your primary audience. Though, speaking as someone who does develop (non-flightsim) software on the side, the thought of getting the developer subscription and playing with the SDK intrigues me.
