February 19, 200422 yr Hi guys, Just recently installed FS9 and can't seem to config my own default flight as I did in FS2002. Everytime I save and click the check box to "save as my default flight" I exit FS9 and and restart and get a "cannot find or load aircraft for this flight" message. Has anyone else run into the same problem and is there a work around? Any help greatly appreciated! Many Thanks, Nate
February 19, 200422 yr Have you by any chance moved your "MY DOCUMENTS" folder from the normally installed location.Generally it is located on the same drive as Windows. For WinXP:drive:Documents and Settings(UserName)My DocumentsFlight Simulator FilesIf you manually moved the "MY DOCUMENTS" folder, FS2004 may not be able to find it.W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
February 19, 200422 yr Hmmmm...Don't know about anybody else but I moved my "My Documents" from the default location (a sepparte drive) and it works just fine. Somehow I doubt that's his problem.
February 20, 200422 yr On my system (using WinXP) FS9.cfg is located in the Documents and Settings folder, not in My Documents. However saved flights are in My Documents. Hmmmm...Well it all works so who cares?David
