Hello to all,I am returning back onto the forums because I have a very bad problem...I get my new pc back (specs atb) and first thing, I install fsx, runs fine, install sp1, it says its installed but in the list of programs it isn't in there. Further from that, I went through all settings in fsx and I get into a DEFAULT 737 and DEFAULT scenery at EGBB and I am getting a bit of lagging in vc and followed by 40-50fps......CHECK OUT SPECS!i7 2600k 3.4ghzAsus P8P67 PRO 8gb corsair vengeance DDR3 1600mhz 2 500gb WD 7200rpm 16mb cache HDD'sCorsair 750w PSUGigabyte HD 6950 GPUSOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON!!!!!!!!I EXPECT MORE!!

I thought FSX required SP2 to make use of multi-core, so I would first select that one. Maybe decrease some of your cloud/water settings to gain a massive ammount of performance.

Nothing is bizzare about that. Your installation is bugged and before you attempt doing ANYTHING else, you should remove FSX completely, with all its addons and start from scratch.After complete uninstall go to:1) FSX folder and delete it2) AppDataRoamingMicrosoft delete folder FSX3) AppDataLocalMicrosoft delete folder FSX4) C:ProgramDataMicrosoft delete folder FSX5) run regedit, navigate HKLMSoftwareWow6432NodeMicrosoftmicrosoft games delete whatever key is named Microsoft Simulator (as far you have only X installed), same going on with the HKCU node, just there is no Wow6432Node -> this Wow6432Node is only there if you are using Windows 64bit6) download this: http://www.pcwelt.de...ity-557997.html run it and find in the list anything that says Flight Simulator, be sure to check the whole list up and down7) My DocumentsFlight Simulator X -> deleteThis is completely going to clean your system of anything remotely resembling FSX installation and whatever new you install, it should install without a problem.And stop using caps. It's hurting my eyes, besides it's interpreted as yelling.

So how about sharing what the problem was??? Maybe someone else would benefit from your solution?

Always, always post the fix in the forum. Have you ever used Google search and found your issue, only to have it lead to the person saying "fixed it" and going about their way without sharing?! Let's contribute to the knowledge base in this forum!

Absolutly guys sorry! Well my friend did it remotely and he tweaked my CFG file using bojotes tweaker thing, then set fps in game to unlimited then put an external limiter in my directory and set it to 30 this is because any higher, fsx can become messy, I dont have the limiter I'll post it later!!! If you have a steady 30fps, that's great!! No lagging at all!!
