FS9 Lockup While Changing Full Screen View

Featured Replies

Can anyone solve this one? I fly in full screen view all the time, but when I want to go back to the Win XP desktop to access another program, I Alt/Ent to go back to window view, then I reduce FS9 to the taskbar by clicking on the reduce box. When I'm done, I restore the FS window and then Alt/Ent again to return to full screen mode. That's when it locks up completely. I get a second window border on top, and a rapidly flashing hourglass. Happens just about everytime. Any ideas?? Thanks. Tom

Hi,why not switching from fs9 to taskbar using alt-tab? hope, it is workingBest regsGunter

If by lockup you mean a black screen with flickering hourglass, try this: Hit Alt to get the menu bar, then go into options, settings, display, hardware and reverse the state of the anti-aliasing checkbox. If the display is thereby restored, reset the checkbox to its original state.

Or, yet another approach is to use the "Windows" key (look for the two keys just outboart of the "Alt" keys) to get to the taskbar directly from full screen mode. When you are finished, click the flt sim's button on the taskbar to restart the sim. This method works every time for me with WinXP Home. R-
