February 20, 200422 yr I have found a grand total of 1 FFX -700 repaint (AeroMexico), the rest seem to be 800s or something else. Did no airlines order them? Lotta -500s, but I want the faster model. Incidently, where is FFX, a google search couldn't find their website.I'm just looking for a newer faster replacement for the old -200/-300s in my VA...(looks like Airbus found a(nother) home for their A320s...maybe?)Cheers,Dave
February 20, 200422 yr FFX hasn't made a -700 yet, so the one you found is a -800 then, a lot of airlines ordered -700 but we just dont have a good free one yet, if you wanna pay there is PMDG.
February 20, 200422 yr I got an FFX 737-700 in a Transavia Livery. Found it over at fsfreeware. Just do a search for ffx and you'll find it. There's zillions of liveries for the payware pmdg or pgmd or whatever it's called; but only a couple for the freeware ffx. Shame!
February 20, 200422 yr FFX never released a B73G, nor never will since they no longer exist. If you have a FFX B73G, you don't you either have a B738 or B734 repainted and called a B73G. There are 3 or 4 aircraft like this that I know of.On the subject of a B73G... Erick Cantu formerly of FFX and now with SGA is doing a B73G and I believe has it to th beta stage now. Also to note, this will be a Erick Cantu release...NOT SGA nor FFX. :-outta http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/dcforum/User_files/3e72a43942b48d2b.jpg There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".- unknown "My daddy gives me up, to fight for you"- a US Military Members Child
February 20, 200422 yr check the file here on avsim aeromexico_boeing_737-700Am I mistaken? Maybe it's a -300? (seems a bit longish, but not -800 long), but seems to have the taller tail, and bigget wing and hor stab...There is a Continental 737-700 I have, but really for AI...Hopping FFX or SGA will open up the WHOLE Next Gen 737 line...Thanks for the words,Dave
February 20, 200422 yr ___________________________________________________________________ FS2004 Transavia Airlines Boeing 737 700 Very accurate and detailed textures, no mipmaps, bitmaps with alpha to obtain natural shine and paint reflexions. You have to enable reflexions in FS2002 or FS2004. Flight Dynamics are optimized for a smooth preformance. It is possible to land at 140kts. with full flaps depending on fuelweight and payload. It also flies perfectly horizontal at cruisespeed. All new features are included in this model from FlightFX/SGA by Mike Baumann/Erick Cantu. 4,43 mb tabu82 | 9/13/2003 | 216 Downloads | Rate it! _____________________________________________________________________Just do a search for transavia at fsfreeware for the airplane. I think the model itself is here at avsim too. Just checked my zipped folder and the above one includes the model, etc. It's bigger than the 500 and smaller than the 800, so I would think it is as advertised, a 700!!
February 20, 200422 yr The AeroMexico is a B733 look at the texture names and model name.Don't have a account at FSFreeware and not wasting time to get one but it will be the same,(There was a B738 in Transvia released Don't take much for a smuck to change a readme file and re-upload) Look at the texture names, and model name.(inside the model / texture folder).Think about this... The B73G is probably one of the most wanted FS Aircraft around. If Erick had released one I do believe it would have gotten the same to do that the recent iFDG A320 / POSKY B752 release got. How many screenshots of B73Gs(other than PMDG) have you seen lately???? Last ones I remember were back in FS2002 with FFGs B737NGs. Nothing since. Other than a couple of teasers from Erick of the one he is currently working on...Note:-300 is 105 feet long-400 is 144 feet-500 is 97 feet -600 is 102 feet-700 is 110 feet-800 is 129 feet-900 is 138 feetAlso to note Erick is supposedly working on whole B737 series. :-outta http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/dcforum/User_files/3e72a43942b48d2b.jpg There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".- unknown "My daddy gives me up, to fight for you"- a US Military Members Child
February 20, 200422 yr You don't need an account to access the free library at fsfreeware. I'm not registered and I look there everyday. Here's a pic:http://www.x-plane.org/users/mgdbottled/FS9B737-700.jpg

February 20, 200422 yr Opps fat fingered the -400. Fault Boeing for the others, www.boeing.com is where the numbers came from...As supsected. the FFX B73G at fsfreeware is a reapainted B733. Guess you missed the FIRST LINE in the readme file..." February 20, 200422 yr That's a pic of a 733, just like the AeroMexico model here at Avsim... The giveaway is in the engine pylon...it is different in the NG (600/700/800/900) series.... The engine pylon in that shot is common to the 300/400/500....-John
February 20, 200422 yr Author ...the giveway is the engine, the landing gear, the tail, the wings and just about everything except the nose and the fuselage cross section. :-hah That's a -300 if there ever was one. Misha
