Fsx 3d question

Hello.I have downloaded iz3d and am using it to play flight simulator x using a 64inch Samsung 3d tv. It does look really impressive. Gives an unreal feeling of height, although the depth when parked on the ground could be a little better, such as with the buildings. I am using side by side 3d.My question is, is the 3d heaps better when using an Nvidia 3d video card, and if I was to get one would it hook up to my 3d tv or does it need a special monitor. Thanks
