I managed to corrupt? all of my PMDG aircraft!

I've been working on a repaint for the NGX and I was reloading the textures on the aircraft using the global max resolution trick (like I've done a thousand times before) when my sim froze, then crashed. When I restarted it, ALL of my add-on liveries for ALL of my PMDG aricraft are gone. I can't even re-install them. All the files are in place including good aircraft.cfg files but the sim does not recognize the other paints...Just though I'd bring this to your attention (If you didn't already know). Now, off to re-installing 5 PMDG aircraft from scratch.

well, I guess I am late, but... you didnt happen to uncheck Show all variants checkbox, now did you?
