February 21, 200422 yr I just got FS2004 and used to use FS2002 on XP. I since upgraded my computer to Windows Server 2003 for business reasons, but am trying to get this to work:Radeon 8500Pentium 4, 2.6 Ghz512 Mb Ram90 gig HDThe trouble I have is when it loads fs9, and give me an error about "The drivers currently installed for your video card may cause your computer to stop responding when Flight Simulator is running" Click yes for newer drivers or no to continue on software modeI downloaded the latest drivers for the Radeon, though I can't find one specifically for Server 2003. I found a few places on google that says it will work, but still getting that error.Anyone know? Thanks in advance.
February 22, 200422 yr Author What MOBO Controller Chip drivers are installed with Windows Server 2003? Open Device Manager, System Devices and check to see if you have entries for:VIA CPU to AGP Controller orIntel CPU to AGP Controller orSis, AMD, ALI, or NForceI you only have the basic Windows Server 2003 drivers, you might need to get updated drivers from the MOBO Controller Chip vendor. I see VIA has drivers for Windows Server 2003 - http://www.viaarena.com/?PageID=300 . If you don't have VIA, check the other vendors.W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
