If you've been using the old Det 40 series drivers just 'cause you want to fly in 3D, good news! Nvidia has released their Det 50 series stereo control panel! I Loaded this up with the new Det 56.56 drivers and took a few test flights. They work great! Get the control panel and drivers at www.guru3d.com.

Just make sure you do a system restore point before you put these in -on my system they cause a massive lag in page loading in FS when switching views, unless the overclocking utility is switched on. The delay from spot view to panel view on first load can be 30 seconds, then it becomes instant for a while then, presumably as a result of RAM being dumped, it takes 30 seconds again. Samer with FS Navigator. It's not that it takes so long, but that is so random that is annoying. Further driver releases are planned for 1st March by Nvidia, so it might be worth waiting until then before updating. Strangely, do not have these problems with the 56.55's. Allcott
