No comms sounds

Featured Replies

Hi, Since installing PMDG 737 NGX I have lost all ATC communications, both sound and text, nav. idents , marker beacon sounds etc. in FSX, on all aircraft including the default ones. All other sounds are fine. I get instructions in the FSX adventures, but no ATC sounds or texts there either. I have tried adjusting settings for auto opening ATC window etc, but still nothing. When flying the 737NGX all the other sounds are correct, including the duplicated speed call outs, at different speeds and height call outs on approach, but no ATC comms, nav idents etc. Can anyone help please? I am running FSX SP2, no acceleration, and REX. My 737NGX has been uninstalled and re-installed to try and rectify this, but to no avail. My 737 NGX is up to date and does not need the service packs. Has anyone else had similar issues please? Any help would be appreciated.Best wishes,Bill

Have you used the Sound panel in the cockpit to unmute the different sound sources? You will only hear sounds for items that have their volume knob bulled and lit up. To do this click on them (or right click). By default panel all radio sounds are muted this way.

Hi, Yes I have tried that, still no comms sounds or texts from ATC, either ATIS or comms. Also all similar comms in default aircraft are missing, even if loaded from the start, without any loading of PMDG aircraft. I will try sending them a support ticket, as no one else seems to be having this experience.Thank you for your help.
