February 26, 200422 yr Is anybody in possetion of apollosoft's flybywire? http://www.apollosoftware.comHave asked them several times about information on the product but no reply other then that i can buy it directly of of them. I dont want to spend my money on another flaw addon so please speak if you have any additional info or forum or screenshots or if you know its a good product or not please! thanks in advance,Marco
February 26, 200422 yr Wow, this sure looks promising!!I'm currently reading the pdf document about it, it's very interesting if it's really reacting as they say. Although, they wouldn't be the first to model it...PMDG 737NG implements the CWS system, which is basically what Apollo is describing, with few discrepancies. And not so "perfect" :)I would love to test it or hear from someone how it is.Also, there are no screenshots of the model or the interior of the aircraft, just a little screenshots of the panel. Which IMO doesn't really look graphically intensive :) And I do like *nice* addons...PSS imo has a beautiful graphic, though performance well...no FBW really...
February 26, 200422 yr Hi there, reading the comments on some Swiss and German forums, people didn't seem to be too impressed with the product. The overhead panel is not functional, the navdata is incomplete (Singapore, amongst others, is missing), and the external models are freeware (used with permission, so no big piracy debate, please). I don't know about FS2004 compatibility. If you like big Airbuses, there is another payware A340 from Aviograsf. Their support forum is here http://forums.simflight.com/viewforum.php?f=115 , you should be able to get an idea from the posts there.Cheers,Gosta.http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg
February 26, 200422 yr I am a beta tester of the aviograsf a340, which will get better in time. I was afraid of that flybywire was a flop, they would not respond to any mails i sent only one about payment. I'm glad i still have my money in my pocket and not blown it on yet another addon. Thanks costa en gosta.Marco
