February 27, 200422 yr Hi!Recently, I installed a new airplane into FS2002 and after that, I tried to load FS in and got slapped with a problem with traffic.dll...FS2002 thought it was an incompatible third-party add-on and asked if I wanted to load it anyway. i said yes and a moment later, it crashed. If I told it to skip the traffic.dll, it still crashed with a problem in main.dll.I had a friend send me his copies of the two files in the hopes that it would solve the problem. No such luck. Even adding it to the "oldmodules" part of the config file didn't work and removing the config also failed.Any hints on how to solve the problem without re-installing the program?
February 27, 200422 yr Are you using WinXP and recently updated to WinXP SP1? If so, make a copy of traffic.dll from your ..fs2002modules folder and place the copy in your fs2002 folder and see if the problem is corrected.W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
