February 10, 201214 yr I have the Carenado C172II and love it. My only complaint is that I can't get the strobe lights to turn on. Is this is a bug? The 3D panel actually has a switch spot labeled "strobes" but it is not clickable. Why? Is this a bug? Shouldn't all planes have strobes? I also cannot turn the strobes on with the strobes switch on my Saitek TPM, which does work for other aircraft. And in an unrelated topic, I miss not having a GPS in the cockpit on this bird, but it's a great excuse to practice my radio navigation skills which need some polishing up anyway. I love this plane! February 10, 201214 yr intentional. the Carenado C152 and C185 also don't have strobes. * 2010 MacPro, 27' display * Snow Leopard * XP10 *
February 10, 201214 yr Author Really? Why? I've never flown a plane that didn't have them. I realize the 172II is an older model, but most Skyhawk II's I've seen had them. FAA licensed pilot (APSEL) flying Cessna 172R and Cessna172SPs. Member of EAA & AOPA since 2001
