March 10, 200422 yr Hi,Bought some Scandinavian Mesh from LAGO but have a question. After the installation which went on very simple and well (just double-clicking an exe-file) I noticed in FS in the Scenery Library that there wasn't any entry for the new Mesh I just installed - is this normal?TIA,
March 10, 200422 yr they prolly dumped it in one of the default scenery locations assuming fs will prioritize based on lod. hunt around in every folder called scenery.
March 10, 200422 yr Author After installation, all new .bgl files were placed here:C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9LAGOTerraMesh15Scenery...and I can't see how FS would find them since I can't find an entry for this directory in the scenery list in FS.Well, guess I'll just have to give it a try and see if I see any difference...Cheers,
March 10, 200422 yr if you're not sure it's active (they may have added an entry in scenery.cfg, check it out) just move that terramesh15 folder to addon scenery and activate like you would any other...man, these "installers" to copy two files are getting more annoying every day!:-lol
March 10, 200422 yr Author That idea has crossed my mind. Checked the scenery.cfg file and no entry there either...Think I will take a look at LAGO's site and see if there are anything about this there. Part from the .bgl files a file called ViMaCore2004.dll was also copied to the Modules folder during the installation, maybe that file is the key to the mystery...Cheers,
March 10, 200422 yr i bet it's some useless frame-hoglago drops in to show their namein your menu bar;)just move the bgl'sps.unless, of course, there was some other stuffincluded with your purchase:aircraft, active ground scenerythose could use a dll
March 10, 200422 yr Author Maybe you're right :-) As far as I can see, the dll-file doesn't do anything more than adding a LAGO menu in FS with links to their website etc...Cheers,
