February 21, 201214 yr Searched the forums and found little bits of info but nothing that is clear on how to exactly get the G940 working. Can anyone provide a step by step of what they did to get everything working? I have gotten the everything to work just through FSX but I can not get the throttles to control left and right on the engines. Can someone provide some insight on how to do this. February 21, 201214 yr It's best to set up all your flight hardware via FSUIPC4. Although writtenfor CH Products, you will find John Cook's FSUIPC Guide general enough and easy to understand to get you started with FSUIPC. You will never look back!Cheers,- jahman.
February 22, 201214 yr Check the Logitech forums, there are a couple of helpful tutorials. However, as Jahman has said, you really should have a registered version of FSUIPC with this setup. It is not required by any means, but you will find it to be much more functional. As far as your throttles are concerned, this may be an issue with the logitech software. There are two things that you should check. First, disable persistent profile. Second disable move active device to ID0. I may not have the wording correct, but it is pretty close. the second item is very important. Each control device on your system is assigned an ID. With the G940, you have three right off the bat. Default assignments for me were joystick ID0, pedals ID1, and throttle ID2. By default the logitech software will change the ID of whatever item you are programming in the software switches to ID0 and really ####### FSX off. Branton Turner
