Featured Replies

Hi my friends,I have downloaded MSflight and installed without any issue, but after all this process appear the following error: Nombre del evento de problema: APPCRASH Nombre de la aplicación: Flight.exe Versión de la aplicación: 1.0.0.30016 Marca de tiempo de la aplicación: 4f28a36a Nombre del módulo con errores: COMCTL32.dllI restarted windows, reinstalled again, and closed my AV software but nothing changed.Any kind of hel will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Try this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/884883ComCTL32.dll is one of the Windows system files.ComCTL32.dll is usually associated with software like .NET runtimes, Internet Explorer, etc.Having crash problems with it is usually a sign that something has overwritten the most up to date version, and the older version is conflicting with your software. The link above is for Windows XP - I am guessing that is what you are using as Windows Vista & 7 structure their system files differently, and are far less susceptible to critical files being overwritten.Which version of Windows are you using? Knowing what version of OS you are running makes it easier to troubleshoot.

Had the same problem running on Win7x86Ran all .net updates (important and optional) from windows update (still didnt work after this)Disabled "COM + Event" service in msconfig utilityFinally tried disabling MS Security Essentials Active Protection and it finally starts. My best guess is that your AV Active protection might still be active? In any case, best of luck to you and post if you find a good fix (since i dont like having AV disabled).
