Just a question about starting the game offline

Featured Replies

Sorry if this has been asked, but I do not seem to be able to find a search function here at the Flight forum...Anyway, I just have a question about playing offline. I have installed the game and it is working, however it still insists that I log into GFWL and does not give me any alternative. Since my gaming PC is connected to the net via a USB wireless adapter, I always have this adapter disabled except for downloading new game content, etc. In that case, Flight will attempt to log into GFWL, fail to do so, yet proceed to the main screens anyway. So yes, Flight does work when I am offline, but I would rather it not attempt to go through the login process to begin with, as it is time consuming and un-neccessary for the way I want to use it (except for new content in which case I am of course happy to login). But Microsoft seem to have said that if you wish to play offline, simply don't log into GFWL at all. Unfortunately though, I simply do not have any such option. There is no option to even cancel out of it. I have to go through the (failed) login process or I can't use the game at all.

did you select the 'save password' and 'log in automatically' options? if yes maybe you shoud turn them off and then try again. these option show up when you press the POS1 key (at least in my case).
