January 14, 200323 yr Are there any WinXP experts around? I just upgraded to XP Home from WinME. So far, so good. However, I cannot figure out how to get the "Search" function in IE to work. I've followed the instructions from the Help and Support Center, but when clicking on "Search", I get a "Unable to Connect" error stating the web site is unavailable or I've lost my net connection. I'm on a cable modem, and able to surf the net.Anybody know what's up with that? I've tried all the options available, to no avail. Thanks,Darrell

January 14, 200323 yr Thanks, Rob. I've been there, and done that. It's gonna take a little time to get used to this OS, but so far, I like it. (It might just be my imagination, but these forums seem faster too). I just built this computer, and was having lots of problems under ME. They seem to have gone away now with XP.Darrell
January 18, 200323 yr drobsonJust a tip I picked up from a moderator some time ago..You might be better trying a 'computer-specific' site rather than a FLIGHT-SIM site for help with Windows problems. In order to help - May I recommend these two sites: http://www.annoyances.org/http://www.winforums.org/ve3ega
