First Addon using the new SDK

Featured Replies

So with the release of the SDK, maybe we will soon see some interesting ADDONS for the 737NGX.It would seem the FS2CREW is just around the corner. What else ? IPAD Touch FMC ?I suspect it will not be long before we see a 2D Throttle Quadrant (for those that feel the need to have one).Hopefully, as new addons are deveoped, and brought to the 737NG pilots, an organized way can be established on this forum, to keep track of these addons, and provide a central resourse, where they can be found, and talked about, without posts about addons getting in one long and unholy unreadable mess, like some topics in the past..Exciting times .. wonder what the first addon will be !!

I wonder if it's possible with SDK, to develop programs who can control what to see in extra screens. Like the warning light and flap-settings on top of PFD and NAV display - so I can have full screen outside view with one 580gtx and then left and right displays for captain and FO with these extra informations in an extra 580gtx card. That would be really nice.I guess it doesn't work with two screens and 2D view, even though that would be sweet. Then have captain display like now and the FO view in the next screen and still have 2D. I just want to train structure for 737 and the 3D cockpit doesn't look real to me (it's difficult to watch the FD 100% like it is with 2D) and much better with windows zoomed when pressed. But then I miss the information when a fire or some other failure is happening - or to see flap-settings./Baudie
