  1. I have a huge problem with REX E making the wind turn up to 180 degrees and therefore the plane goes from overspeed, to stallspeed and back to overspeed. This is far from okay since I train procedures and don't want unexpected crazy weather conditions. Is it possible to use the sweet REX E textures and standard FSX weather engine? Does anyone know the commands to control the weather from a webserver? Any help would be highly appreciated. Best regards Baudie
  2. I get the same problem from time to time, so before setting up everything, I check if the handles are there :-) /Baudie
  3. Thank you very much - I'm so happy because deleting the file did the job. I feel so stupid not knowing stuff like that, but really appreciate to get the help! I will remember you Vic, because you saved me and now I can stop making ready for a reinstallation :) Thanks! /Baudie
  4. I've tried to remove all fsuipc for throttle, removed all throttle keyboard binds and not clicked "enable controllers". My goflight GF-TQ6 has the F lever out of control, but is not set to anything as far as I know. All the rest is calibrated in windows and looks fine when testing in controlpanel. Is there any way I can get back the contol of that engine? When I take back the throttle with mouse, then it goes back immediately. Thank you in advance if anyone knows how to fix. I'm desperate and almost ready to reinstall - but hope there is a cure. /Baudie
  5. I just want to train procedures and prefer to have fps - and therefore no VC. A laggy feeling and the concentration is lower, because it doesn't lag irl. So just all the information available and I guess it isn't possible without building the complete cockpit. I really wonder why they don't make it available for us. Thank you for your answer. /Baudie
  6. Is it possible to have customized instrumentation setup? I would really like to be able to have fx "Captains Fire button" followed by "Captains Master caution button", then the failure information, after that "speed brake info", then "flap settings information" etc. all the informations until the "FO Master caution and Fire buttons". I would like to have these as real PMDG instruments (which I don't think is available with fx project magenta) and have them low in the outside display. Is it possible after PMDG have made SDK available and if it is possible, then how to do it? I have a 27'' widescreen for outside view and an 19'' non-widescreen monitor for FO instruments, and my plan is to have another 19'' for captains instruments. Is it possible to set this up, without pressing them each time and moving them to the right position - and instead edit them in some file, so having this movement done automatic and still keep the original PMDG instruments? Thank you for any help, it is much appreciated, Morten Dinesen Baudie
  7. I have the same failure with A/T disengage after TO/GA and set to "never". I thought it was only me, but seems like we are a few. Anyone elso who fx only see "7," at the DME2 at FO seat - and not fx "7,3" - it's outside the screen. /Baudie
  8. Could you in an update make the DME fully viewable in the first officer side? Even when the display is in full, I can't see the decimals of the DME... It shows fx 13, and then the rest is outside the range of the window. /Baudie
  9. Let me know how often you'll get vertical winds upwards with 160 km/h with this simulator? Besides that I think he said "rule of thumb"... /Baudie
  10. How much did it cost for that sweet throttle with flap, speedbrake and brake-handle? /Baudie
  11. Hi Steve Thanks for your answer, but it didn't help. I did have the broadcast set to 1 and decided to uninstall PMDG and reinstall it. I have the same error. I uninstalled the PMDG reinstalled PMDG Installed the c version of PMDG Checked I had the 87 version of goflight, but since it didn't work, tryed to uninstall that and reinstall but same error... [EDIT: just saw the trick to start FSX first and pick the PMDG before starting goflight software and now it works, except I have to pick EFIS and device 0 for it to remember that I'm not a captain - but It's not a big deal, so no problems :-) ] /Baudie
  12. I have the same problem as jport1, only I get the SImConnect green and PMDG says: NGX (with none below) and it keep flashing red?! Another problem is that I have to set EFIS device - device 0 every time to have my efis for co-pilot. It doesn't remember that I'm not a captain yet! Hope you can help me, and a huge thank you for making this and also for support! /Baudie
  13. Thank you for making this Steve. Is there a quick way of turning off all the lua script you made? or is this enough? DISABLEMCP = 1 DISABLEEFIS = 1 /Baudie
  14. Hi Steve Sorry if my joke about microsoft came out wrong. I really appreciate your work and knows you just want it to work properly. I don't think the microsoft way is any good and thought it would be obvious. Looking so much forward to trying this and a huge thank your way for doing this when GoFlight and PMDG can't make the ends meet. /Baudie
  15. I wonder why this topic is "Now" available, when it should be "soon available", and changed to Now when ready. Steve should just do like microsoft and release it, and have more people "testing" :) /Baudie
  16. Hi Steve I also have the MCP with EFIS and a TQ6 throttle with 737 handles and will report to you with the driver. Let me know if I can help and a huge thank for making this work. I really appreciate it! /Baudie
  17. Thank you Pete for trying to help a lot of us, and good style Tabs!I hope so much to build my sim using the pmdg 737/Baudie
  18. I would really like a 2D 3840x1080 cockpit for this bird, the PMDG 737NGX.1) I guess it's possible to have a 3840x1080 with two gtx580 in sli, to begin with?2) Can I use FS Panel Studio in FSX for PFD, ND, warnings etc. for the FO side? Does FS Panel Studio work with 3840x1080?I have made the "PMDG_NGX_Main_Wide.BMP" into a picture with both sides on, so background for both the captain and the FO - in 3840x1080.3) If I can't use the program "FS Panel Studio", is it possible to do it by editing the "panel_Wide.cfg"? (and should I also edit the "panel.cfg"?)4) Is it possible to see all the available gauges like"gaugeXX=PMDG_737NGX!MasterCautionSystem_Captain" but for the FO, I guess it would be something like"gaugeXX=PMDG_737NGX!MasterCautionSystem_FO"- but is there a listing somewhere? and is it possible?I would really appreciate help.Thank youMorten Dinesen
  19. At the moment I have two monitors, and the extra one is used for PFD and ND for co-pilot. At the moment I have a 27'' widescreen for 2D display and a 22'' standard 4/3 screen in use for co-pilot.Is it possible to have two 27'' monitors and have the 2D for both commander and co-pilot? Only 2D display since I train procedures and don't think it's any good with 3D for training purposes. I plan to use eyefinity and "one huge screen" setup. How will it look?If that isn't possible, is it then possible to get all warning-lights and the flapsetting as a window to set to the other screen(s)?So I can have an extra gtx580 card for two extra screens. Then it would be two screens to look outside as windows in a 737, and then two sets of PFD and ND for both pilots, with the warning-light and flapsettings viewable. As an extra question, is it possible to plan a fire at V2 instead of only time - as it is possible with failures...Thank you in advance,Morten Dinesen
  20. I wonder if it's possible with SDK, to develop programs who can control what to see in extra screens. Like the warning light and flap-settings on top of PFD and NAV display - so I can have full screen outside view with one 580gtx and then left and right displays for captain and FO with these extra informations in an extra 580gtx card. That would be really nice.I guess it doesn't work with two screens and 2D view, even though that would be sweet. Then have captain display like now and the FO view in the next screen and still have 2D. I just want to train structure for 737 and the 3D cockpit doesn't look real to me (it's difficult to watch the FD 100% like it is with 2D) and much better with windows zoomed when pressed. But then I miss the information when a fire or some other failure is happening - or to see flap-settings./Baudie
  21. That was a situation of the captain not being the owner of the airplane and therefore wouldn't make an overweight landing with overstress to gear etc. It's wierd that you talk about ownership and the cost of the plane, because I couldn't care less about who is the owner. I take the same professional care regardless ownership. If it's my little piper or a 737. It doesn't make any difference. You miss the point that he might have checked if they were on profile and with correct speed just before and after the foto. I would agree that one foto should be enough, but it really seems like he is in the loop and a few seconds is not dangerous in that situation as I see it. Can you say that you never have thought about anything else than flightsafety before being on cruise or after leaving arrival segment? Not even a few seconds thinking of something which didn't have anything to do with the current flight? If so, shouldn't you focus on speed, profile, ATC etc. As you said, it could be dangerous to think of anything else than current flight (in your perspective)./Baudie
  22. It's not the smartest move when being filmed, but people here call him stupid and a potential danger and rule-breaker - even though we don't even know if he broke any company rule.It makes me think of the ones who got burned and died, just because the captain wouldn't brake any rules and make a overweight landing with smoke from an unknown source. I'm not saying that you would do that, but some captains are way to strict. Of course the crew shouldn't breake any rules unless it necessary, but this is far from being dangerous with the information we have.Have a nice weekend all and have safe flights, those who work with the best "office"-view :)/Baudie
  23. Wierd you can't take a foto for a few seconds, but you are allowed to have dangerous approaches./Baudie
  24. Please let me know where to find those rules from all companys in the world since you know they broke the rules - or just let me know what company this is. I would also like to know which company you fly for./Baudie
  25. His mobile might be on fly-mode and then it doesn't interfere. Furthermore they are clearly flying visual, so it doesn't matter that much. Of course you can't cover all examples with a rule, other than to turn electrical equipment off./Baudie
