March 22, 200422 yr Yes, indeed. Something Is Wrong -- reads are inconsistent. The data on the disk is fine (I believe, anyway) but reads are returning corrupt/not-corrupt depending on the phase of the moon.We don't know whether it's the new hard disk, the controller, bad RAM or what, right now.What would be useful for me to know is when did these bad CRC downloads START? Was it *only* yesterday since the downtime announced on the front page, or has it been happening since the Library came back after the disk failure?Thanks,--M
