March 28, 200422 yr Can you set FS2004 to go below 100m visibility ?Look at the slider, it won't go any further.I had a METAR the other day that had 0050 (50 meters) and visibility would not change to that lower value.(If you have FSMeteo6.4) Go to LGAV and load FSMeteo6.4 offline weather report 04032104 and please tell me if you get the same problem.I attach my VIS settings. The slider won't go further left (from 0.1 Km)http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/69074.jpgKyprianos Biris :-cool Hellenic vACC - Olympic Aegean Virtual Prepar3D 5.3 | CPU i9 10900K | VGA: RTX 3070 | RAM: 32GB DDR4 | Monitor: 3440x1440
March 28, 200422 yr If the vis is at 1/16 mi or 100m (325 ft), you can't land anywhere anyhow unless you're operating on a CAT III ILS, you'd bascially be flying in a cloud.
March 28, 200422 yr another way to simulate thiswould be to take an old fs2000 model:can't see the prop, can't see the gearthat's pretty much it in real soup:-lol
March 29, 200422 yr Author You can still see some stuff in 50m RVR just below aircraft's nose. This is a CATIIIB or CATIIC approach if I remember well. The METAR I refer to had 50 meters visibility and this is why I ask.So I guess the FS2004 vis does not go below 100m ...Kyprianos Biris :-cool[link:avsim.com/greece/hvacc]Hellenic vACChttp://vateud.org/images/vatsim-eurs.gifhttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg Hellenic vACC - Olympic Aegean Virtual Prepar3D 5.3 | CPU i9 10900K | VGA: RTX 3070 | RAM: 32GB DDR4 | Monitor: 3440x1440
