Hi peeps, I just bought FS2004 yesterday and am checking in with pleas for help with understanding what's available and where it is. Where/what are the good forum boards? I'm looking for a couple helicopters to fly. Any suggestions? Please take into account I'm a noob flyer also. I've tried to do the first lesson but so far my pooter will not give me good enough sound to be able to understand what the guy is saying. I'm s'posed to have a good soundboard but I'll have to tinker. :D

I have to concur with Dave on his advice about Hovercontrol. It's the BEST website available right now for the FS heli community.I have to ask.... what in the world does 'noob' mean? I'm sure it must computer shorthand for something, but for the life of me, I can't figure out what! :-eek I've seen the term before and not knowing what it stands for makes me feel so old! You are right about allnodesarebusy.com but you can get in...You just have to hit the refresh button several times. I usually can get in after 10 refeshes (although there have been times when I couldn't get in at all and had to try later). As to the download limit, I noticed that too but there is a way around that. I have been able to come close to maxing-out my DSL line's pittiful bandwidth anyway :)
