March 29, 200422 yr Hi AllJust wondering if anyone out there still using FS2002 is having this problem. I know I'm not alone as a good friend of mine on the the other side of the planet is suffering from this also. I am using the registered version of fsuipc along with Radar Contact, Active Sky and a multitude of other addons including Ultimate Traffic. What happens is this. I can be anywhere in the flt regime, in flight,on the gnd and all of a sudden I get a message saying FS needs to close, sorry for the inconvience. When I check the details it always says it has a problem with atc.dll. I usually delete it and reload a fresh copy and i'm good for awhile. Not always though sometimes I have to reinstall the dll file a couple of times. If I dont reinstall it happens in the first 5 min I restart.I'm hopeing one of the experts out there has found a cure for this and can advise me on what to do. Thanks in Advance SnaJet
March 29, 200422 yr You might try restoring the default Traffic.bgl. Extract it from your fs2002 CDs using an unzipping program. Search the *.cab files and extract to your (drive):Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFS2002SCENEDBATCScenery folder. You may want to search your ..FS2002 folder for traffic.bgl to see how many you have installed and where. Either copy those files to a folder outside of FS2002 or change the file extension, e.g., traffic.bgl to traffic.MYTRAFFIC prior to substituting the default traffic.bgl.After you have placed the default traffic.bgl in your system, start FS2002 and see if the fault occurs. If so, you know it is not the traffic.bgl file and the fault lies somewhere else. You can delete the default traffic.bgl and rename the traffic.MYTRAFFIC to traffic.bgl.If the fault doesn't occur, you may have a corrupted traffic.bgl file and may have to reinstall your AI traffic anew.W.
