Does anybody have problems with certain ATC options in FS9...such as not being able to call up ATIS, not being able to get a different approach, not being able to get airport direction....My buttons will not summon any of these options to life...!!!! Plus when starting off a flight plan, I don't even get to ask for clearance...when I request clearence, I simply get an approval back without hearing my requestr first.!

Have you installed any third party scenery updates. If so, try removing them and see if the ATIS problem is solved.Check your compressed audio codecs are installed and enabled:Microsoft IMAADP32.acmMicrosoft MSADP32.acmMicrosoft PCM ConverterMake sure you are using an IFR flight plan because a VFR plan doesn't provide the clearance delivery.W. Just added aircraft but the problem exists w/fs9 aircraft too. Havenyt installed 3rd party scenery. I have the problem in an IFR flight plan. What are these audio codes and where do I check installation and enabling...?THX FE

Hi,One way of looking at your installed Audio Codecs and their priority is to go here...Control Panel --> Sounds and Audio Devices --> Hardware Tab --> Double-Click 'Audio Codecs' --> Properties TabAfter getting to that point, you can then select an individual codec and examine the 'Properties' for it by double-clicking on a specific codec or clicking on 'Properties' after having selected it.Hope that helps,Jim

all codecs ok...
