FS2002 scenery and effects in FS9?

Featured Replies

Does FS2002 scenery work in FS9 properly, and with no side-effects? And, how about *.fx files? Will effects from my FS2002 effects folder work properly if I move them into the FS9 effects folder? Thanks -- Dick Bixler

FS2004 does support earlier style scenery but to say there will not be any side-effects would be imprudent. The new scenery engine is tuned for the new style.I won't replace the liked-named FS2004 *.fx files with FS2002 counterparts. If you want to try, make a copy of the *.fx folder and save outside of FS2004, then make the substitutions.W. Sieffert
