X-Plane for iPad: virtual cockpit?

Hi all,

 

I hope I have the correct forum for this question. (Perhaps I should post over at x-plane.org?) I just bought X-Plane for iPad, and I'm enjoying it, but I'm wondering whether I can move the cockpit view at all -- e.g., look out the side windows. I've read through the manual, and it seems the only options for views are the 5-6 exterior views in the upper-left of the UI. That's OK, but it'd be nice to be able to look around from inside the cockpit.

I have not found anything to allow anything to allow side views. It would be great but, considering the platform, they have probably done all they can do with it.

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
