FSX Surrounded by FS2004?

I'm not sure if I'm in the correct Forum, but I'll continue.

 

i've only been running FSX for just over 6 months, and it's been a full time getting it settled down.

 

However, I've just discovered that my FSX Folder is surrounded by FS2004 and FS2002 folders?

 

Would I be in serious trouble with problems from FSX is I deleted all other FS Folders than those withing the main FSX Folder?

Ken,

There should not be any FS2002 0r 2004 folders, but there should be exe files. I am thinking that is what you mean. M$ put them there for any addon that looks for those older exe's from previous flight simulators.It is highly unlikley that you would require that, as anything legacy would be porridge in FSX.

You can ignore them.

Hello Julian, thanks for your quick reply.

 

My FSX Folder has all the folders within it, outside of that folder are FS2002 and FS204. I'm just concerned that those folders are taking up space that could freedup. My PC is not all that speedy and any HP (Horse Power would be gratefully) received.
